Drummer Pat Kirch of The Maine was kind enough to chat with us a bit about Warped Tour, best friends made on tour ( band wise ), Inspiration to play music, and more. Let us know what you think.
The Kitchener, Canada band consists of twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn (vocals, guitar) and Phoenix Arn-Horn (drums. vocals) with their friend Brandon Lockwood (bass).
Call them a power trio, pop-punk, alternative metal. As you wish. They grew up on it all. But while you are jumping around and banging your head with abandon, don’t miss the message: They have no appetite for destruction. They do not seek to destroy. No, Courage My Love is here to uplift, inspire.
Courage My Love tells us what their dream tour is, we play a game of this or that, find out Canada doesn’t have the cereals that we have in the US, and more.
We had the honor of speaking with Nick Santino ( ex A Rocket To The Moon singer ) who is now a solo artist about a few things including the feed back on his new album ” Big Skies”
Gia Farrell, who’s hit single “Hit Me Up” which was featured on the Happy Feet soundtrack in 2006 is now accompanied by Kandice Brending. Together, they are Alt Pop duo Blackbird. Watch our interview with them above to learn a little bit about them.
To interview one of my heroes is a big thing. Someone who’s music helped you through all the hard times growing up. I started to listen to Silverstein when I was 13/14 years old, and now I’m 23. If you would’ve told me then that 9 years later I would be Interviewing and meeting Shane I would’ve called you crazy. Never give up hope on meeting people who mean a lot to you. -Christine Trimarco
